Feed Lot Sorting Practice:

Whether you and your horse have previous experiance with cattle or are wanting to learn and practice and have fun in non-pro setting. We are focusing in the family and individual. Our practices will be every Saturday from 5:00-9:00 P.M. The cost is $20.00 per participant. For further information or directions either email or call us (after 6:00 P.M.).

Wednesday Night Roping Lessons with Joe Jacobsen

Starting Feb 1st. and then every Wednesday night we will be having Roping Lesson with Joe Jacobsen.
$35 per night, heated barn, 7 – 8:30. All lessons start from the ground and then up. Beginners welcome and those needing to touch up there skills.

Numerous Clinics, Events and On-site Training

There is always more to learn. At H&L Stables we offer on-site training and we also bring in Clinicians and hold other equine events. You can chose to participate in as many or as few of our events as you wish, but we believe there is always something to learn when it comes to understanding and enjoying our horses to their fullest.

Tack Up and Ride

We have even provided a safe place, out of the traffic area, to tack up and groom. Nothing can be as frustrating as having to move your horse or keep others out of harms way when horses are in the aisle. At H&L Stables we have set aside an area to take care of that issue.

Indoor Arena

Our indoor arena will is available to our customers and provides you with a comfortable atmosphere, good footing and the continued ability to ride in our cold, snowy Minnesota winters without having to bear the elements if you are not a cold weather enthusiast.
